Elaia encompases Atitlan’s agricultural endeavors, developing and managing permanent crops orchards.

Since acquiring its largest estate in 2007, Elaia has grown steadily to surpass 18,000 hectares of olive, almond and citrus groves. Currently, the company operates more than 10,500 hectares, comprising 63 farms and 2 oil mills in Portugal and Spain, and markets its products worldwide.

Elaia, in its firm dedication to sustainability, has always strived to automate and mechanize its processes in order to minimise natural resources usage. Moreover, it promotes several initiatives for biodiversity protection and sustainability, being a pioneer, for example, in the cultivation of super-high-density organic olive groves.
